Is L’AIRE legit?
L’AIRE is a membership community created by a team of individuals spanning more than 30 years of combined entrepreneurial, marketing and/or aviation experience with brands such as British Airways and Virgin. We’re cultivating a community of individuals who want to travel with a more refined, friction-free experience. L’AIRE membership offers a hybrid between private jet charter and commercial travel. We’ve established L’AIRE thoughtfully under strict guidance by a team of legal counsel in Washington, D.C. with a strong pedigree of aviation expertise.
Is L’AIRE an airline?
L’AIRE is not an airline. We are a membership organization. We do not operate aircraft. All aircraft is operated by well-established air carriers who are fully compliant with the rules and regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Which airports with L’AIRE operate from?
L’AIRE membership includes access to private terminals near mainstream and international airports, similar to private jet charter.
What kind of aircraft can I expect as a L’AIRE member?
L’AIRE is a fan of the Airbus 321 NEO and other aircraft without safety issues.

How can I get a membership to L’AIRE?
L’AIRE is a private, membership-based community of world travelers. Our members honour our simple rules of respect, trust and privacy. We’re a diverse group of members spanning arts, entertainment, sports, hospitality, finance, technology, fashion and more. Each member represents L’AIRE, so we select carefully. Our application process is straightforward and memberships are limited. Referrals help.
How many members does L’AIRE have?
L’AIRE does not publish how many members there are in its community, but memberships are limited, ensuring that there is always a seat available for a member traveling to our destinations.
When will my L’AIRE membership begin and end?
L’AIRE memberships will commence during 2024-2025. Your annual membership will begin upon the commencement of L’AIRE flights. For example, if L’AIRE flights commence on December 1, 2024, your membership will begin on that same date. You will be notified within 60 days of your membership commencement date via e-mail. Your membership will end following the last day of the last month of your 12-month membership period. (See FEES to understand billing commencement and terms.)
How does L’AIRE differ from commercial air travel or private jet charter?
L’AIRE is a membership that’s the perfect combination of commercial air travel and private jet charter. We’ve eliminated the need to surf web sites for the best fares. We’re eliminating endless walks to gates. We’re eliminating three-hour lead times. Instead, L’AIRE membership offers a one-time annual or monthly subscription fee for unlimited travel within our destinations. We know you were born to travel the world. Arrive at a private terminal and board your flight like you would a private charter. L’AIRE flights include private jet aircraft, mid-size and commercial planes.
What can I expect if I am accepted as a member?
If you’re accepted to L’AIRE, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of your membership and next steps.
When can I begin reserving flights on L’AIRE?
Memberships will commence Summer-Fall 2024 from your L’AIRE member portal and app.
Why was I not accepted as a L’AIRE member?
L’AIRE is a limited community of members and we consider each application individually. If your application was declined, we suggest that you try again after several months for an additional review. We do not discriminate upon age, sex, race, religion, income or otherwise. If your membership application was not approved, your application fee will be fully refunded.
Can non-L’AIRE members fly with me?
L’AIRE is only available for travel by members at this time.
Can children become members of L’AIRE?
L’AIRE memberships are available for anyone ages 16 and up. Membership fees are the same for young adults.
Can I cancel my L’AIRE membership at any time?
L’AIRE memberships are non-refundable.
What happens if I need to cancel or make changes to my flight?
Nothing. L’AIRE is a private membership enabling you to book or change travel plans as needed and on the fly.
Is there food and beverage service on flights?
We don’t believe in airplane food and think air travel should be like eating at your favorite restaurant. Expect service from some of your favorite chefs and restaurants worldwide.
SAFETY
What safety and security measures does L’AIRE take to ensure that passengers are safe?
L’AIRE recognizes that safety and security is paramount and are taking every precaution to ensure that our members are a part of a low-risk community of travelers. Each application is vetted individually, using the most advanced technology available to perform background checks on members frequently, ensuring that the safety ecosystem of L’AIRE is unobstructed by high-risk members and passengers. Put simply, there is no room for high-risk members (or crew) to compromise the safety of our community.
What kind of planes does L’AIRE fly?
L’AIRE aircraft includes private jets, mid-size aircraft, and large-scale commercial planes.
Are L’AIRE pilots and crew experienced?
L’AIRE pilots and crew include only fully-experienced professionals with a strong pedigree of working with major airlines and private jet charter companies.
Does L’AIRE protect members from Covid?
L’AIRE health and safety protocol ensures that we take every measure for cleanliness of terminals and aircraft. We ask that our passengers take similar measures, as they would everyday and everywhere.
FEES
When will I be billed for my membership, if accepted?
Your membership will not commence until L’AIRE commences flights. If you are accepted as a L’AIRE member, you will receive information via e-mail regarding your membership contract to secure your membership position.
Are there any additional flying fees on top of the membership fee?
There are no additional flying fees.
What’s the difference between annual and monthly memberships?
Annual memberships are available for L’AIRE members and come with certain benefits that are not available to monthly subscription members. For example, annual members may have access to certain private performances in flight or menu items (for example, an acoustic performance for a Grammy artist or Michelin-rated food). See pricing for membership descriptions. Additionally, there is a 12 percent interest rate charged to monthly memberships.
How can I pay?
L’AIRE accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and ACH payments. You may also apply for credit via Affirm or Klarna. There is an additional 2.5% fee for all memberships paid by credit card.
Are there any extra taxes?
Taxes are already included.
